UFC 263 Betting Odds And Prediction: Deiveson Figueiredo Vs. Brandon Moreno 2
The UFC is in Glendale Arizona for Saturday’s UFC 263 pay-per-view card. Two title fights headline the event and before those contests, there is a special five-round non-title fight on the schedule. UFC 263 streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
In the main event, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya meets Marvin Vettori in a rematch. The first fight between these two took place in 2018. Vettori was the first fighter to go the distance with Adesanya and he remains the only UFC middleweight fighter to take Adesanya to a split decision. Adesanya, who is the current middleweight champion, is coming off the first loss of his UFC career, a unanimous decision setback to light heavyweight titleholder Jan Blachowicz. Vettori has not lost since his defeat at the hands of Adesanya.
In the co-main event, UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo faces Brandon Moreno in another rematch. These two 125-pounders battled to a draw in December 2020.
Figueiredo says he will retain his title with a knockout win.
“I’m confident I’ll knock Brandon out,” the champion told MMA Junkie. “This second time around, I’ll be able to show how much I’ve evolved. I had a complete training camp – almost four months. We studied him very well. I’m going to show him that I’m the true owner of the championship belt.”
“I’m going to put on a show. I’ll be showing the world that I’m the rightful owner of the UFC flyweight belt.”
As for Moreno, he does not lack confidence.

“If the fight is so hard and we go to the fourth, fifth round, but I get the knockout, obviously maybe the people want to see the third fight,” the challenger told MMA Fighting. “But if I can finish this guy in the first one, in the second one, we can finish the rivalry right there.”
Before the title fights, Leon Edwards faces Nate Diaz in a five-round welterweight bout. Edwards is on a nine-fight unbeaten streak while Diaz is coming off a TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal. There is a good chance the winner of this contest could be next in line for a welterweight title shot.
