The Summer Game Fest—part of the Game Awards from Geoff Keighley—is set to kickoff later this morning.

It’s basically the first big event in this year’s all-online E3 video game extravaganza. The Summer Game Fest kickoff livestream will include a number of game announcements and trailers and other goodies for gamers.

One possible highlight this year is Elden Ring from FromSoftware and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin—basically a dream collaboration. We’ve heard next to nothing about the game for ages at this point, so a big announcement is long overdue.

Then again, that’s just a rumor and I refuse to believe it until I see it with my own two eyes (though, as Mulder says, I want to believe).

Other highlights being shown off today include:

  • Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War
  • The new Among Us season
  • A brand new game from 2K and Gearbox—probably Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a Borderlands spinoff

And plenty more—likely both exciting and disappointing, good and bad like all these livestreams tend to be.

The Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! event begins Thursday June 10th at 11am PT / 2pm ET. You can watch it in the video above. Stay tuned to Forbes Games for coverage of all the announcements both during this event and throughout E3 2021. Maybe we’ll even get an Elder Scrolls 6 trailer, or something on Starfield—both games now part of the Xbox family since Bethesda was acquired by Microsoft.
